The main organization to find information about Arizona housing grants for home owners and home buyers is the Department of Housing and Urban Development of Arizona.

The HUD advises on buying a home, on how to avoid foreclosure and show offers to find affordable rental options, etc.

Save Our Home Arizona

The “Save our home” Arizona organization offers financial assistance starting form $5,000 to $50,000. It also offers forgivable loan option upon completion of the loan term.

Arizona Housing Grants Family Housing Resources

It is a large non-profit organization with an aim to provide affordable Arizona housing grants for low to moderate income families and individuals. It also offers counseling services to home-buyers for free. The counseling service is designed to guide the home-buyers towards affordable housing depending on their budget. The counseling is also offered to homeowners and its services involve helping a homeowner create a budget and a plan to pay a mortgage.

The mortgage loan provided by FHR including down-payment as well closing cost assistance. They are available at fixed low-interest rates. First-time home buyers are eligible for all the mortgage loan programs provided by FHR.

Housing Our Communities

It offers counseling services to eligible home-buyers before and after purchasing a home. It provided eligible home-buyers with down-payment and closing cost assistance of up-to $25,000. It is offered as zero-interest, zero- mortgage and second mortgage. Its services are offered in Mesa, Phoenix, Peoria, and Avondale.

Community Services Arizona, Inc.

Its first-time home buyer program provides financial assistance for eligible families. Its funding is offered in Scottsdale, Avondale and Glendale with interest free loan option. It also provides the option of affordable renting option for low to moderate income families. This option is also available for senior citizens. It prevents foreclosure by providing a rescue fund.

Newtown Community Development Corporation

This organization provides first-time home-buyers with a forgivable loan up-to $15,000. It also provided sources for down-payment assistance. It is a non-profit organization which offers affordable housing opportunities in Scottsdale, Glendale, Tempe and Chandler.
